First, let me apologize for my lengthy absence. I'm so sorry!!! I won't deny that I've been in a creative slump, but that's no excuse for not writing about...something. I think the total renovation of our bathroom (December and January) took all of the wind out of my sails; but tonight, I finished a sewing project and am creating a new pattern for a purse. I have many ambitions and I really hope I can get my act together to open an Etsy shop (even if all I sell are my patterns). Thank you to all who have kindly donated to my site...it keeps me going to know that people appreciate the work I've done here.
So, no tutorial today and no crafty projects to post about. I thought I'd share a great find I made when searching for a place in Toronto that makes good macarons...I think I found a really good place. La Bambouche is located near Yonge and Eglinton. Here are some photos from my "coffee party" today after my lovely macaron purchase:
Flavours are: Chocolate (x2), Blueberry, Lavender, Chocolate Mint and Espresso. I have to say that the Chocolate Mint was my favourite, closely followed by the Lavender. The macarons are $2.50 each and I have to say they are worth every penny.
Hubby indulged me and participated in my "coffee party":

So there you go...I am making it my personal goal to keep this blog updated, crafty post or not. All of this really is part of my Pretty Modern life, so I think it fits quite well!
